Heavens to merkatroid! I haven't posted anything on here since late summer. I feel like I've been exiled to "no yarn land". Amazingy enough some weird part of me decided it was time to Date. Yeah, men. Ok, have that mostly out of my system. So I'm ready to knit.

First off, the blue cotton angora by Debbie Bliss that I posted about earlier, the camisole top. FROGGED. All of it. Gone. I decided to make a small cropped bolero styled sweater out of it.


I went to my Stitch N Bitch meeting at Suzoo's in Costa Mesa tonight, and she was having a huge 20% off everything sale. She rocks! not to mention other sales that were mind boggling. So, I gave in. I have three projects I am working on. Too bad I can't blame it on A.D.D..

#1: The first is a SKULL and cross bones felted bag. The front of the bag will be the skull, but all around the sides and back will be just the cross bones. I'll be using Lamb's Pride Bulky yarn for this. Black body, red outlining the skull, and a white skull and cross bones.


#2 a Red sweater that I just made up. No pattern, I just knitted whatever came to my head. That, and I can never remember what the hell I'm doing. It will be a very deep v-neck sweater. Using just an acrylic yarn that actually is soft. Found it at a thrift store.



#3 a two tones, multi varigated jewel toned scarf. Beautious. I should be keeping busy till christmas. And only one of the items is a gift. The other two..it's all for me babbbby!
