I'm sure classic rockers everywhere would be appalled that i'm taking an awesome song and applying it to my life ... as a knitter... hahaha.. but screw 'em.

I just logged on here after a massively long haitus, and realized I haven't done squat when it comes to knitting. Squat, equates to the minimum amount possible. I think it has alot to do with being very dazed, and very confused with my life.

I have a worker's comp case that had me going through a vocational rehab. That means, they send you to school to learn a new skill, other than what you were doing. My choice, to be a chemical dependancy counselor. The schooling part is done, and I am in my internship at a recovery/sober living home for women. Which I love beyond anything I can describe. However... isn't there always a HOWEVER somewhere in the mix... I am prohibited from earning a living. That means NO MONEY can be exchanged for my services. Which means, I am living off my savings. And at the age of 41 (soon to be 41) that isn't a whole hell of a lot... so 9 months later..i am dangerously close to depleting my savings... once my internship is done, then I can work... earn money and not sweat so much. Which makes things a tad bit more difficult is that my car committed suicide, and it is irrepairable. So now, I bicycle 27.2 miles round trip several days a week. If that wasn't bad enough, I'm a total sicko and I bike additional miles for my health. And I go to the gym...and recently, wading out into the ocean to strengthen my stamina and endurance. With all this, I haven't had hardly any time to knit at all..and I know, that if I do, my stress level would decrease. I just seem to have no time. And this saddens me.
But, here are a few of the projects I have been working on... 1) A 4th of July camisole that I started 10 days after the 4th... it will be ready for next year..hahaha 2) the Alien Illusion Scarf I made for my daughters 13th bday
